This is a wonderful children’s story by author Rocio Monroy. I absolutely enjoyed reading this book with my grand kids and it brought more than a few smiles to our faces. They loved not only the story, but also the amazing colorful illustrations by Eugene Ruble.
Paisley the goat is having trouble falling sleeping. She puts on her sleep mask and even tries counting sheep! It doesn’t work so she goes for a walk on the beach. Along the way she discovers a variety of objects and creatures that incorporates a numbers and counting theme. By the time she reaches ten, she finds herself calm enough to fall asleep.
An excellent bedtime story for ages 2-5. Highly recommended and a well-deserved five stars.
