Play On Words: A Collection of Poetry

December 8, 2017

Play On Words is an exploration of idioms commonly used in the English language. R.R. Noall explores, dives into, and obliterates their traditional meanings, provoking readers to question everything they’ve ever said.

R.R. Noall’s debut poetry collection is a must read for all poetry lovers!

In a field crowded with disappointing tomes, what a pleasure it was to open Play On Words by R.R. Noall, and be introduced to something fresh and unique. An absolutely unputdownable book!

This is R.R. Noall’s debut poetry collection. It’s a short quick read but it packs a heavy literary punch. It’s thoughtful, thought-provoking and drawn with fine imagery (as poetry should be).
It was difficult to pick a favorite from this collection. But if I had to choose, I’d pick this one:

Play On Words
Smooth, like the dice in my hand.
Seemingly leaving it all to chance, a careless toss.
Words don’t fall on pages like that.
They’re graceful.
Yet we play.

A recommended read to all poetry lovers and a well-deserved 5 stars from me.

A native of Cleveland, R.R. Noall penned her college essay on her love affair with words. Since then, writing has permeated her career aspirations and pastimes.
