The Spirits Control Your Love Life: If your love life stinks, there’s a spiritual reason (Fifty Shades of Psychic Book 1)

September 11, 2017

BOOK DESCRIPTION

In this personal account, one man details how his past life sins had a direct effect on his love life.
Frank Mares, a successful middle-aged businessman, was always mystified why his love life was snake bitten. Others thought of him as a considerate, funny guy with good looks, but every one of his long-term relationships with attractive women ended in a fiery wreck. After the death of his father, he started a meditation practice that inexplicably rewarded him with psychic abilities. With his new gift, he discovers that reincarnation is real and he recovers facts about nine of his past lives. Most of those lives involved violent, bloody deaths. Mares goes on a spiritual journey to find out why he kept dying violently and why he couldn’t find the love he was looking for in his current life. The answers do not come easily, but by using a team of three world class psychics, he tracks down the shocking reason why the Universe is angry with his soul. The psychic team finds that within the soul of this normal, small businessman resides a brutal, stone killer from the 1600’s, who surprisingly was the revered founder of a gentile noble family. The killer’s portrait still hangs in his tourist destination castle outside of Prague, while Mares pays his Karmic bill.

Mares hopes to salvage the dark time in his soul’s past into something that could help others today. Specifically, he found that everyone’s long term romantic relationships were preplanned before their births. This planning was done not so that you can find love and happiness, but rather so that your soul can learn spiritual lessons through heartache. By examining his past relationships with a new perspective, he saw how the Universe set him up for romantic doom through amazing coincidental encounters and by ruthlessly preventing more suitable girls from ever meeting him.

If you read this book, you will never look at Love and Death in the same way again. In addition, some of your past romantic disappointments might now start to make sense.

REVIEW

Have you lived before? on September 10, 2017

Some people believe that experiences or feelings they have in this lifetime can be traced to an experience in a past incarnation. For those who might be unfamiliar with the subject, the concept of reincarnation is that our souls may experience many lifetimes over centuries, or perhaps even thousands of years. It’s a fascinating subject that some people have even dedicated their entire lives to the study of it.

From a personal point of view, I have experienced deja vu throughout my life countless times. Déjà vu is a French word that literally means, “already seen.” Those who have experienced the feeling describe it as an overwhelming sense of familiarity with something that shouldn’t be familiar at all. In my youth, the experiences were very overwhelming and disturbing to the point that I feared I had a mental illness of some kind. Thankfully, as the years went by I spoke about it to family and friends and was astonished to find that they also had similar experiences. Of course, time is a great teacher, and as the years went by I learned that this was quiet a common phenomenon. However, science or medicine still can’t explain it. What connection this might have to past lives I’m not sure, but as a consequence, I’ve kept an open mind while reading this book.

At the outset, this might seem like a New Age concept, but nothing could be further from the truth. The Aztecs, Egyptians, Greeks and Romans all held a belief in the “transmigration of souls” from one body to another after death. Furthermore, It’s even a basic fundamental precept of Hinduism. And, while reincarnation is not a part of official Christian doctrine, some Christians do believe in it or at least accept its possibility. The notion that after we die we can live again as another person, perhaps even as the opposite sex or in a completely different role in life is an intriguing thought, and for many people, highly appealing.

What I liked about this book is that the author was just telling his own story. I never observed or concluded that he was trying to ‘sell’ me anything. He was also very aware and open to the fact that some people were going to be highly skeptical. And his acceptance of this, I believe, gives even more credence to his story. That’s not to say that I believe him, but I sincerely believe that he believes in the concept of reincarnation. And, since I don’t have all the answers, who am I to say otherwise?

This is a personal account of a man detailing how his past life sins has had a direct effect on his love life. A successful middle-aged businessman, always mystified as to why his love life was ‘snake bitten’. Regardless of being a considerate, humorous and attractive man, all of his long-term relationships would end in a ‘fiery wreck’.

The book description continues and explains that, “After the death of his father, he started a meditation practice that inexplicably rewarded him with psychic abilities. With his new gift, he discovers that reincarnation is real and he recovers facts about nine of his past lives. Most of those lives involved violent, bloody deaths. I’ll certainly be looking forward to reading more from Frank Mares in the future as this has all the hallmarks of being an interesting series of stories. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone with even the slightest curiosity about the afterlife. Five stars from me.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Frank Mares is the pen name of a Columbus Ohio successful business owner and psychic on the “down low”. A confirmed atheist and skeptic of anything supernatural through most of his life, Frank unexpectedly obtains psychic abilities in middle age after starting a meditation practice. Instead of checking himself into a psych ward, Frank embraces his new gift and joins the extensive Columbus Ohio psychic community for training and support. He discovers that reincarnation is real when his sordid and colorful litany of past lives are revealed to him. This discovery is described in his first book, My Journey Down the Reincarnation Highway.” After the events of his first book, Frank’s spiritual discoveries turn to exploring how his love life (and everyone else’s) is directly controlled and scripted by the spirit world to teach difficult spiritual lessons. Using the wreckage of his own relationships as an example, Frank creates the “Fifty Shades of Psychic” book series to prove this surprising revelation. The first book of the series, “The Spirits Control your Love Life” was released in August 2017. The sequel book, “Soul Mates- A Psychic Love Affair”, (release date -October 2017) describes the painful and hilarious events of of being romantically reunited with two of his beautiful soulmates. The book explores the past life romantic connections of the soul mates and leads to Frank’s conclusion that one should never seek their romantic soulmates, but rather one should run from them.
